A father of British Colombia who killed her three children has withdrawn his application for leave with escort of the psychiatric hospital where he is detained, saying that he did not want to cause pain to the mother of the children.
Allan Schoenborn wrote a statement read at a hearing of the Board of review of British Colombia Tuesday which was called after an outcry on the earlier decision Commission requesting leaves with escort of the installation.

Friend of the family Dave Teixeira, stated that the next stage of the family is pushing for the rights of the victim more in cases where a person has been found not guilty due to mental illness.
He said psychiatrists assess these people not simply take the pain of the victim into account.
