Ivory Coast Army Chief returns to the fold of the Gbagbo - BBC News

In C?te d'Ivoire, the occupancy rate of Laurent Gbagbo of the Presidential Palace in the Abidjan remains unwavering.

Forces opposed to the forces of the outgoing leader and those of the internationally recognized President, Alassane Ouattara essentially maintained their positions.

Then news last night that the head of the Ivorian army, General Philippe Mangou is now back in the Gbagbo camp after taking refuge week last to the Embassy of South Africa.

So how significant is Mr.Mangou return to Gbagbo's camp? Paul Bakibinga of BBC Network Africa talked to our reporter in C?te of d'Ivoire John James.
